وینستون گروم

وینستون فرانسیس گروم (به انگلیسی: Winston Francis Groom, Jr) (متولد ۲۳ مارس ۱۹۴۳ در واشینگتن، دی.سی.[1][2] - درگذشته ۱۶ سپتامبر ۲۰۲۰) نویسندهٔ رمان و کتاب‌های غیرداستانی بود.[3] او بیشتر با اثر فارست گامپ شناخته می‌شود که فیلمی موفق از آن به کارگردانی رابرت زمکیس در سال ۱۹۹۴ ساخته شد که به پدیده‌ای فرهنگی تبدیل شد و شش جایزه اسکار گرفت.[4] او همچنین در موضوعات متنوعی از جمله جنگ داخلی آمریکا و جنگ جهانی اول آثاری غیرداستانی دارد.[5]
