کدهای بازیافت
برای دسته بندی مواد بازیافت شدنی به هر گروه از پسماندها کدی اختصاص داده شده است که به آن کدهای بازیافت گفته می شود. به طور مثال برای پلی‌اتیلن ترفتالات (پلاستیک نوشابه‌ها) کد ۰۱ در نظر گرفته شده است و روی این نوع کالاها نماد بازیافت به صورت 
درج می شود.
