پروتئین پروتئولیپید ۱
پروتئین پروتئولیپید ۱ (انگلیسی: Proteolipid protein 1) یک نوع از پروتئین پروتئولیپید میلین است و جهش در آن، با بروز بیماری پیلیتسئوس-مرتسباخر ارتباط دارد.
هنگامهای که غلاف میلین در حال شکلگیری و پیچیدن بهدور خود است، پروتئین پروتئولیپید میلین لابلای آنها جای گرفته و غشاء سلولها را به یکدیگر محکم میکند.
ایزوفرمهای مختلفی از این پروتئین موجود است که توسط دو نسخهٔ رونویسی مختلف از ژن آن حاصل میشوند.[5]
پروتئین پروتئولیپید ۱ با پروتئین اصلی میلین تعامل پروتئین-پروتئین دارد.
