این کلیسا که مابین قرن ۱۴ و ۱۵ میلادی ساخته شده بود در جریان جنگ جهانی دوم و بمباران شهر کاونتری توسط نیروی هوایی آلمان نازی تخریب شده و سپس در سال ۱۹۵۶ دوباره شروع به ساخت و در سال ۱۹۶۲ تأسیس شدهاست.
